We're embarking on a five and a half week long trip to Singapore and Malaysia starting on the 30th April 2012 (tomorrow morning!). After much packing, a few weeks of planning, and no small amount of purchasing, the trip is finally about to begin. Bikes, trailer, and panniers are all packed - and we feel like we have managed to pull it all together in record time. The whole family is super excited about our holiday!
Through this blog, we hope to keep a record of our trip so that you - our friends and family - can hear our news and see what we're up to. We'll be blogging primarily from our mobile phone, so the pics might be of questionable quality - also we are told there are large streches of isolated coastal paradise where mobile phone reception is sketchy ;) so assume the best if we don't write for a few days. Finn inspects one of our Vivente World Randonneur bikes, which was generously packed by Pete K at Pushys in Canberra. Pete has done an excellent job and the bikes look like they'll travel even better than we will (especially now that we've gone and mummified the boxes in packing tape).
